success. People prefer to do business with people they like. Meeting,
getting to know people and building strong relationships can effectively

The “Special” Secret
of Sales Success
Increasing Sales and Creating Ultimate Relationships
~ The Keys to Outstanding Customer Service
Most people in business today feel overwhelmed and underappreciated.
Less than 2% of the work force is ever made to feel “special".
When salespeople and executives learn how to differentiate
themselves from all of the other people in their client’s lives, they
create “Ultimate” business relationships. An “Ultimate” relationship
will bring increased sales, more referrals, generate more business
and will result in an increase in overall success.
Customer service expectations have never been as low as they
are now. The average customer today actually expects lousy service!
This makes it easy for those of us who want to shine and stand
out from the crowd. With just a little effort, we can pull away
from the pack of uncaring or tiresome vendors and salespeople.
When we take our customers by the hand and ask them questions
about what they really want and need, we work to make a true
connection with them. Then, when we fulfill their needs, customer satisfaction
is mightily impacted and sales soar. There are many facets
to outstanding customer service – including customer
retention, win/win negotiations, value selling, effective listening,
cold calling and thorough follow up.
Participants will learn:
- Negotiating is a science. There is a right way and a wrong
way to conduct a negotiation, and when done correctly, it will
always result in a win/win.
- No sale is ever made based on price alone. It’s never
just about the price!
- A solid relationship will win out over competition every time.
- The truth about cold calling: NO call is ever wasted! We always
get back what we put out – though not necessarily from
the same source.
- It’s more cost-effective to keep a client than it is
to get a new one. Client retention is as important as new business.
When client retention is high, and new clients are added to the
mix, the result is stunning growth and increased
sales.
When you learn the right way to make people feel important and
simple ways to make your interactions with others more memorable,
work will flow more smoothly and the people you deal with will
enjoy working with you more. Understanding that we are all connected
to each other works to create a greater sense of peace and harmony
in the workplace and helps to drive business forward at an unprecedented
pace. There are many factors working simultaneously in our lives
and they are easier to recognize and work with when we grasp these
principles and learn how to use them to our benefit! This program
is guaranteed to motivate and inspire!
The SELF Personality
Profile
Do you work with some people who just don’t seem to understand
you? Or perhaps you don’t understand them or what makes
them tick. Do you sometimes feel that you aren’t even speaking
the same language? If so, you’ll be delighted to find out
that you may be having trouble communicating with others because
you really aren’t speaking their language! Even though we
may all be speaking English, we relate to each other differently.
The S.E.L.F. Personality Profile will help audiences to gain
greater understanding of how others process information and relate
to those around them. Gaining this understanding will improves
our ability to communicate with others and in doing so, improves
productivity.
We each relate to the world around us based upon
our tendency to lead or take direction. Couple that with our preference
to work with others or by ourselves and you come up with four distinct
personality profiles. When we learn to identify the different characteristics
of each dimension, our ability to communicate is immediately improved
and we no longer encounter the stumbling blocks that used to hold
us back.
This is a fun, interactive presentation that will, in just an hour,
teach audience members a better way to communicate and relate to
those around them, eliminating frustration and challenges to progress.
The
Art of Business Protocol & Etiquette
“The Art of Business Protocol & Etiquette” is an HR Director’s
dream! In today’s workplace, running a tight ship sometimes
has to take a back seat to political correctness. This program
will teach Supervisors, Directors and Team Leaders how to communicate
their needs effectively and within the parameters of correct behavior.
This program can also be taught directly to employees as a means
of inspiring them to perform to the best of their ability and within
the guidelines of modern business protocol.
If you’ve ever had someone text message a friend or associate
while in the middle of a conversation or had someone read their
e-mail while you are trying to talk to them, this presentation
is just what you need! How does one define the difference
between multi-tasking and being rude? Good
business etiquette encompasses
everything from table manners to effective communication.
There are many categories that fall under the headings of protocol
and etiquette. Participants will learn about the importance of
and how to achieve:

The History of
Las Vegas
Everyone knows the Las Vegas of today…mega-resorts, world-class
shopping, restaurants ruled by celebrity chefs, stage spectaculars
and hi-rise condominiums that rival New York City! But how
did this jewel in the desert grow up so fast? More than 5,000 people
move to Las Vegas, Nevada every month…drawn to the glitter,
the growth and the opportunity that is unique to this valley locale.
Now you can discover the drama that built this tiny whistle-stop
along the railroad into one of the most rapidly growing metropolitan
cities ever. Mormon missionaries tried to settle here and Pony
Express riders cut through the valley. But it wasn’t until
the gold strike of 1859 and the discovery of the Comstock Lode,
the greatest, single mineral strike in history, that Nevada became
a destination. The trains came through in 1904. Then, in 1928,
when the $165 Million dollar Boulder Canyon Project launched, thousands
of depression-weary job seekers came to the valley to work.
Gambling was legalized in 1931 and the rest, as they say, is
history! Within ten years, small hotels and casinos begin to crop
up, including the Flamingo, owned by the infamous gangster Bugsy
Siegel. Audiences from around the world will enjoy this brief history
~ but the Power Point that accompanies this entertaining presentation
is chock-full of spectacular photos that will transcend language
barriers and illustrate the spectacular events that made Las Vegas
what it is today.
Discover:
- Bugsy Siegel’s influence on Las Vegas, right up until
his death
- The development of downtown
- The effect the energy crisis of the 1980’s had on the
casino’s lighting
- The bizarre world of Howard Hughes
- Las Vegas’ unique tendency for imploding old resorts
- The impact Steve Wynn has had on Las Vegas
- Las Vegas’ evolution: from simply an entertainment destination
to a world-class dining, shopping, and residential metropolis
- Why more than 40,000 students call Las Vegas home, making Las
Vegas the 6th largest school district in the United States
- What’s in store for the future of Las Vegas, and what
is the meaning of “Vertical Vegas”?
Robin Jay is a 34-year resident of Las Vegas and has experienced
much of this growth first-hand. She shares anecdotes from her personal
experience, working in the hotel industry when it was still controlled
by organized crime and the days when Howard Hughes owned much of
the city. Go beyond the glitter of Las Vegas Boulevard and enjoy
this journey to the heart of what makes Las Vegas the most unique
and exciting city in the world!
Essential Wellness ~ The Lighter
Side of Stress Management
Wellness is NOT an option! We have an obligation to ourselves
to take care of our bodies and our minds. In this presentation,
audiences will learn the importance of achieving and maintaining
good health, as well as effective ways to get there. Busting
stress is at the top of the list. In this program, Robin offers
permission along with the ammunition necessary for individuals
to accept that taking care of themselves is critical, and that
they needn’t feel
guilty for simple pleasures.
As a former victim of stress, Robin found out the hard way that
finding one’s purpose and passion is the key to healthy living.
The effects of stress account for nearly 90% of all illness and
cost employers thousands of dollars per employee every year. Concerns
about our economy, terrorism, families and our jobs take their
toll on most of us. Women and men handle stress differently. We
owe it to ourselves to find the way to deal with stress that works
for us as individuals. This program offers options and healthy
ways to reward ourselves that will make the ultimate difference
in our health and overall happiness for the rest of our lives.
The importance of indulging ourselves in activities to relieve
the strains of everyday life is emphasized, along with a variety
of great ways to reduce and even eliminate stress in our lives.
This enjoyable and informative presentation will have audiences
scrambling to eat healthier, find stress-busting activities and
schedule their next massage!
The Power of Mentorship: The Principles of Success
The Principles of Success motivates and inspires. No one questions
a law such as GRAVITY. If you drop a pen, it will never fall UP! So
it is with the principles of success…although most people
are unaware that such laws even exist – let alone question
them! The principles of success are laws, just like gravity, and
understanding the laws and how to make them work for us helps us
to discover our unlimited potential.
- Dream
A dream is a burning feeling you have on the inside that you feel
compelled to bring to the outside. By acknowledging your dream
and nurturing it, you can turn it into a reality.
- Desire
Desire is jet fuel for your dreams. It is what gives you the POWER
to take action on your dreams.
- Vision
Vision is your mind’s eye – your imagination. Only
those who can peer into the invisible can do the impossible!
- Right Thinking
The only difference between a rich man and a poor man is his method
of thinking. A poor man thinks about the things he does NOT want
and a rich man focuses on those things he DOES want.
- Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is the great force that brings everything
into our lives. Good, bad or indifferent, everything comes to us
by this great law. This law can bring you everything you ever desired
in life.
- Associations
What you get in life will be determined by those with whom you
surround yourself and to whom you listen. Their influence will
affect not just everything you get, but also what you have and
where you will go in life.
- Action
Action is what transforms ideas - taking them out of the invisible
realm and manifesting them into the physical realm. Knowing what
your results are reveals what your actions have been.
- Belief
Faith is your ability to see into the invisible so that you can
grasp onto that which is incredible and be able to go out and do
what most people say is impossible.
Robin shares colorful stories that help to illustrate each of
these principles. Audiences will come away with a greater understanding
of how they can achieve greater success in their work and experience
more harmony in their lives. She lives each of these principles
every day, creating the reality of her dream. Now audiences will
be able to transform their lives into a more positive, productive
and inspiring reality.
